The manufacturing method of high frequency welded radiator tube involves shaping a flat aluminum strip into a tube, then connecting the edges through a high-frequency welding process. This performs seam welding without the use of any filler material. The welded pipe size is then adjusted until exact tolerances are achieved.
This product is a composite pipe. Unlike extruded or drawn tubes, these can feature weldable layer materials of different aluminum alloys. Typically, the core material is 3003, with a cladding weldable alloy of 4343 or 4045. It is extensively used in heat exchanger tube production for furnace or flame brazing, offering excellent sacrificial corrosion resistance.
